Photo of the Week-

The roofing company we contracted with, All Weather Roofing, called Friday evening and said they were sending two crews to put our new roof on Saturday morning. I was amazed they were working on a holiday weekend, but relieved we would have a new roof before it rained again. They showed up early Sat. morning, got to work and by the end of the day our new roof was on! And we haven't had a drop of rain since- LOL But for what we paid for this new roof, there better not be any leaks. Unbelievable how expensive roofs are.

Hope you all had a fun holiday weekend!

Yay - no more threats of cave-ins. Now enjoy your sunshine. It is raining cats and dogs here, LOL.

pretty blue sky :D no a new roof isn't cheap :/ thats why dad redid his himself, went well until my idiot of a cousin put his foot through the rotten part even after dad had told him not to go on that part of the roof. of course the hole was right above my bedroom so I spent 2 days wishing it wouldn't rain :p

Hey, so glad to see your roof is on and thats that!! I know, dontcha hate paying for the things that "have" to be done? It's much more fun to get new furniture than, say, a water heater?? lol

Congratulations indeed. At least they finished in record quick time and were out of your hair. Now keeping fingers crossed for you that all will be well when it rains.
