36 years ago on this day...

... I gave birth to my youngest son, Ryan. I also have a son, Rod, who is two years older than Ryan. On their birthdays my thoughts are always about them. I remember all the hopes and dreams I had for them on the day of their birth, and what a joyous time it was. In recent years I have been estranged from my kids, for reasons I won't go into here. But regardless of what happens in life or the choices our children make, mothers never stop loving their children and wishing the best for them. So on this day, my heart and mind are focused on Ryan, hoping he is happy and well, and that each year of his life gets better and better for him.
