Pierce Manufacturing, the company Mike works for, is having several fund raisers over the next few weeks to raise money to fight breast cancer. I'm donating the bust in the left bottom corner of my blog banner to their auction. I need to make her a new necklace with some copper and turquoise beads, which I hope to get done this weekend.
Sat. night we are participating in a bowling fundraiser. I haven't bowled in over 20+ years, so this should be good for some laughs. Mike brought our shirts home yesterday. Mine is the pink one, of course, saying Fight Like A Girl.
Mike's company makes fire trucks and I think the logo on the men's' shirts is a hoot. We Save Lives- and We're Saving Ta-Tas.
Peace-Linda

good for you Linda.... it should be great fun... nobody will care what you bowl like, they will just be happy that you are there.
I'm feeling good today too... I'm sending a little bear for a silent auction to help raise money for a donkey sanctuary. check out my little friend Sheaffer sometime...he is a hoot to read.
Sheaffer
those shirts are great :D
bowlings more fun when you haven't played for a long time :) you never know, you could be a better bowler after not playing for so long :D
Cute shirts! Rich is a bowler, well until cyatic (sp) problems started that is. I am not but it is always a fun time and a good cause too.
FAB shirts!!! Don't worry...as Vee says, everyone will be so happy that you are there and won't care what you bowl like. Anyways, you will probably get back into the swing of it quite quickly and be bowling like a pro by the end of the night ~ :)
I think a turquoise and copper beaded necklace would be perfect for the bust! Remember to take a pic for us.
I love it! The shirts and the cause as well ("saving ta-tas" what a hoot). Don't worry about bowling well, just have fun.....
LOL! Fight the good fight Linda, and thanks for putting those up!
I love the t-shirts. :)
Hope the fund raisers get a lot of money for that worthy cause. I love bowling but haven't played in about 7 years. :(
Still have my bag, ball and shoes in the garage. Maybe one of these days. :)
Good luck Linda! Hope you have a fun time bowling.
Have fun Linda. Don't worry how you play it is all for a good cause.
Linda, that is SO funny about the tata's shirts. I thought that was just a Linda word, but I guess its a Florida word?? LOL Glad you got your power back quickly!
